In order to take the right path and keep to it, the guidance of the spirit is not a preference but a necessity. This requires awakening and being born again.

A person who wants the guidance of the spirit, must shine the light of love and knowledge on the darkness of the ego/flesh. Because the true self cannot appear without illuminating the dark sides of the ego. Marching on through hardship with a false self and finding comfort is nothing but a fallacy.

The true self is a journey of self-knowledge, self-discovery, recovery, self-transcendence and personal victory over the self and over all complexes like inferiority/superiority.

They will either do it by themselves, allow it to be done, or else they will reach that stage by dispersing their inner shadows and bitterness. 

Without one of these three options, it is difficult to discover the divine truth and the meaning of life. One must mature in order to not stagnate. All that suffering is for illuminating the darkness of the ego in the name of maturity. It is for the guidance of the spirit. It is for the sovereignty of spiritual beauty.
